CHARLES J. LEVIN is dedicated to the ethical practice of law and to the commercial real estate industries that support his practice of landlord representation.
Charles J. Levin concentrates his practice in the preparation, negotiation and interpretation of commercial leases. Clients include many major property owners, and management and leasing firms having a presence in the United States and other countries.
Mr. Levin holds an "AV Preeminent" rating from Martindale Hubbell Law Directory®, which is the highest level attainable by an attorney. The “A” signifies a very high to preeminent legal ability score, and the “V” signifies a "Very High" general ethical standards score. Mr. Levin is a past President of the Building Owners and Manager's Association of Greater Tampa Bay, a 225 member chapter of BOMA International.
Mr. Levin's articles have appeared in the American Bar Association Journal, and in publications of the Ohio State Bar Association, North Carolina Bar Association, Pennsylvania Bar Association, Florida Real Estate Journal, and the Practice Development Newsletter of the Attorneys' Marketing Report. He has also served as a legal source for Brownstone Publishing Inc.'s monthly publications, Professional Apartment Management, Shopping Center Management Insider, Assisted Housing Management Insider, and Commercial Lease Law Insider. He has lectured in continuing legal education courses approved by the Florida Bar and educational programs sponsored by Stetson University College of Law, Florida State University College of Law and the Hillsborough County Bar Association. He has also presented at broker and client seminars, twice served as a featured educational speaker at a BOMA International Convention, was a panel member on BOMA International’s Audio Seminar Series Risk Management and the Regulatory Environment, lectured at numerous BOMA Southern Region conferences and was an educational speaker at the Florida Association of Realtors® Annual Convention.
He is the co-founder of the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts (“FMOPA”) located in Tampa, Florida, where he continues to serve on its board of directors reflecting his long-standing commitment to art, photography, and the Tampa Bay community. Mr. Levin, a native of Chevy Chase, Maryland, graduated from the University of South Florida in 1968 with a degree in accounting and from the Florida State University College of Law in 1972. He established his office in the Tampa Bay area where he continues to serve his clients.
